Setting Goals 2016

Good Morning #FitFam!

2016 is just around the corner and I have a new Fitness Challenge Group about to start.

This group is similar to my September group – 25 ladies who are ready for a change. This isn’t a Beachbody challenge group, I think I have moved on from that. This is a group that is meant to inspire and educate people who are needing fitness and nutrition support and motivation.

A big part of my focus of my groups is goal setting. It is really hard to achieve any change without having a purpose. As you know I like to set huge goals for myself, marathons, half ironman, etc. But not all goals need to be EPIC.

What

In my new group I am going to have challengers choose a fitness and nutrition goal each week. Something for them to focus on, a tangible goal so they can start feeling successful right now. Choosing to lose 50 lbs and run a marathon is HUGE and may be over whelming. Choosing to walk 3x this week is possible. Having small right now goals that lead to a major accomplishment is even better!

As for my goals, I have set a few some big some not quite so big.

1. Read more books2. Get a new hobby3. Try rock climbing4. Be more creative (1)
