Last night I applied to Girls Gone Sporty to become an ambassador. One of their questions was – How would you define a good week?
This week was exactly how I would define a GREAT WEEK. I woke up each and every morning a got in a solid, sweat breaking, heart pumping, feel like dying workout. I did a combination of weights, cardio, and stretching. I also was able to keep completely on track with my eating. Each and everyday this week I had a delicious GREEN SMOOTHIE, full of protein and fruits and veggies. I also did reasonably well at avoiding foods that don’t help me get towards my goals. I did, however, allow myself to enjoy a potluck meal at lunch on Friday and a few drinks and chocolate Friday night, I am human after all.
Here is a break down of my week.
Sunday -I killed a personal distance record in the pool on Sunday, swimming 2400m with this workout I found on Pintrest:
Warm up – 300m
7x100m on 2:45
2 x 150m sandwich 50 easy 50 hard 50 easy
4x 50m hard
Monday – X3 Agility
Tuesday – X3 Yoga
Wednesday – Rest Day so I got to sleep into 6:15am (when did 6:15am become sleeping in??) I did X3 Dynamics in the evening. Its an amazing workout that have you stretch out all those tight muscles and connectors while moving.
Thursday – X3 CVX 30 minutes of cardio with weights. I used a light weight but MAN OH MAN it was hard!!
Friday – X3 Warrior. This workout is killer, Tony Horton puts you through several sets of upper body, cardio, core and lower body circuits. He LOVES his 1 legged squats and push ups!!
Saturday – A long slow run. The wind was insane but I pushed hard, refused to give up, took a few extra walk breaks and ran 6.2 miles in just over an hour.
How was your week? How do you define a good week?
