Workout Recap – October 19 – 25, 2014

Last night I applied to Girls Gone Sporty to become an ambassador. One of their questions was – How would you define a good week?

This week was exactly how I would define a GREAT WEEK. I woke up each and every morning a got in a solid, sweat breaking, heart pumping, feel like dying workout. I did a combination of weights, cardio, and stretching. I also was able to keep completely on track with my eating. Each and everyday this week I had a delicious GREEN SMOOTHIE, full of protein and fruits and veggies. I also did reasonably well at avoiding foods that don’t help me get towards my goals. I did, however, allow myself to enjoy a potluck meal at lunch on Friday and a few drinks and chocolate Friday night, I am human after all.

Here is a break down of my week.

Sunday -I killed a personal distance record in the pool on Sunday, swimming 2400m with this workout I found on Pintrest:

Friday – X3 Warrior. This workout is killer, Tony Horton puts you through several sets of upper body, cardio, core and lower body circuits. He LOVES his 1 legged squats and push ups!!

This is how you are supposed to look at a workout!!

Saturday – A long slow run. The wind was insane but I pushed hard, refused to give up, took a few extra walk breaks and ran 6.2 miles in just over an hour.

Put in my New #SweatPink laces and went for a run.

  1. @ Tri Girl – It kicked my butt. It was supposed to be 100m easy each time, but it was so tough that I needed to breathe a little and made it 100 kick, The sandwich was supposed to be 50 hard 50 med 50 hard, but again it was killer. Thanks for commenting 🙂
